have only been a couple of times but, lots of cichlids and golds is real cheap compared to BA. gold site is cichlids.ca, but im sure they have tons more fish in stock. in edmonton you might want to also try natures corner. used to be dads fish and they got a new location.

saw just about one of everything last time i did a gold/rfront/pisces journey. the big asian aros ($$) are hella sick.
 
unfortunately on the west coast, big al's has kind of bad reputation.

The owner has taken legal action against ppl saying negative comment on forums.
 
SE in a little strip mall, 4710-17ave. tiny tiny shop but many fish and sick prices. I believe some members have SH pics of bleheri from golds here at mfk.
 
I've ordered stuff from them. VG customer service IMO
