I don't get it. Japan is in Ruins, Economy all over the globe is in the gutter, And we're dropping Multi Million $$ missiles into Libya... We're still not out of the middle east and we're getting involved in another escalating military situation.

It's a coalition... multiple countries are going to the rescue. :)

Also, I am not happy at the idea of another military front in the Middle East, but Libya at least seems like a worthwhile and necessary cause.

The problem with past coalitions is that it seems that we bear most of the brunt of the bill and human lives lost.

True. But this one was going to happen with or without us.

That video does not even come close to doing justice to a night launch of a tomahawk missile. It is an amazing thing to see 20 of them launch all around you, standing on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier, in the pitch dark at about 3 in the morning.

Thank you for severing our country

And that is what makes US AMERICANS. Go big or go home.

Nice clip, never saw it before, thanks for posting it...I also served in the military and it gets to me when I see footage of people in some of the areas that we are in burning US flags and waving all sorts of negative signs and yelling their displeasure at our presence.Too much of that goes on in some places, the people don't even appreciate what we are doing for them and the men and women that we have lost in order to do it.Sure they want our help in the beginning, especially our money but as soon as some zealot starts to run his mouth they turn on US.

I've been out for quite a few years now but God bless those who are active.

quick note:
I do support our countries choice on weither or not we participate in any piece keeping or not, as well as the brave men and women who are now fighting to protect OTHER countries...ones who when they joined the army were likely to not even know about. That kind of dedication to piece should not go unnoticed.

The iraq war has little in common with what is going on now here in Libya. This situation could more closely be related to what has just recently happened in Egypt where they too had asked for foreign help.

I'm not a diplomat tho and im sure other canadians feel differently.

I didn't want us to go into Iraq but the moment we did I supported it 100%
