use caution when reintroducing driftwood

Wow i posted this over 2 years ago...lol.. here is some closure, i ended up soaking the driftwood in hot water with no bleach for several days, and repeated. The pc has been in use since then.

hey Ed, when it gets to summer time, take a rubbermaid tub and fill it with the hottest water from the bath. Leave it out in the sun all day and hope that gets everything out. My driftwood was simply too large ( i have big wood! LOL) to boil so this is the method that i ended up using.

boiling water, I have used this method many times and never had any problems

I used bleach all the time. Just use prime to de-chlorinate it.

I used 1 tablespoon per 1 gallon of water. Then I use 5ml of prime per 1 gallon to de-chlorinate it.
