In his current avatar to me, it looks like his fish is swimming in orange Kool-Aid.. and the 'CH' in his name makes me think of Cheetos... so yeah this is where this came from....

Love it! Doesn't everyone give there fish orange Kool Aid and eat cheetos? I thought everyone new fish prefer orange Kool Aid over plain water. It helps with cycling and cutting down on water changes, FTW.

And all this time I thought the water was tinted orange from working inside your tank with Cheetoh residue left on your finger tips!

I guess I need to pick up some orange Kool-Aid tomorrow. Should I add sugar too? If so, can I use plain old table sugar? Or do I need to get Sea Sugar?

I prefer Puffs over Crunchy. And I don't care too much for the flavored Cheetos...Jalepeno, etc.

My favorite snacks are chewy granola bars though

The Cheetoh residue really only ads some trace elements, but should not be overlooked. The purest would of course use Sea Sugar but plain table sugar will work. If you tend to overfeed and are worried about the fish packing on to many pounds Splenda works also, just don't over do it with the synthetic substitutes or nitrates can become a problem.
