$500.00 is a good deal for that tank/supplies. Why is everyone down on acrylic? Glass scratches cant be removed however acrylic can be sanded and polished back to near perfect condition(if the scratches are not too deep). If you have the cash than by all means buy it. Also the stand can be trimmed out and doors added to make a nice stand instead of the plain wood...

The seals. It looks like from the first pic it was re-siliconed. Looks like crap personally, but hey if it hold then who cares. I'd still hassle the guy about the seals if they do look like crap.

Very true, but not everyone has a sander and etc. I agree though if you have the supplies then why not.

Yea, went and looked it it today. I wanted nothing to do with that tank there was scilicone all over that dude, I mean gobs of it inside and out.. Still looking for a good deal..
