Looks like he reposted it on craigslist and the asking price is $3,500. He also posted some pictures. Unless the dudes in the photo are 7' tall, there's no way that tank is 4' tall. I would say the tank is more likely 3' high. If it's 1" acrylic and made by a reputable company and has never seen water, $3,500, that is a good deal (but never offer asking price...go lower). Get some estimates from Tenecor, ATM and Midwest Custom. I would guess for a 10x4x3T, you are going to see estimates from $6K to $8K. When you go above 3' tall, the cost skyrockets...see this link: http://www.tropicalfishstore.com/ultraquariums.htm (10x4x3 is $7,480 and a 10x4x4 is $14,248- the price doubles for an extra foot of height!)
I recently bought a 770G (10x3x4H) I found on craigslist, but it came with a really nice steel stand, sump, overflows and awesome pieces of driftwood. Something I hadn't considered was how much heating a tank this size was going to cost me. Still working through how I'm going to heat it. If you end up getting it, I would say you should have no less than 8 guys to help you move it...better to be safe than sorry. Also, dollies are your friend. Good luck!
