Pet's Playhouse in CR is having a big sale on the 26th of April (I think, I'll check on the date and let you know) I heard he is selling tanks up to 75g for $1/gallon and up to 150g for $2/gallon. I go in every Saturday so I'll ask him the details this weekend and let you know.
There is also Fish Shack in Manchester and Dubuque, he will sell tanks for pretty cheap and will let you know to wait when they will be on special to save you some money.

No, Mike at Pet's Playhouse doesn't even know of this place as far as I know, I asked him about the Stingray Symposium in Chicago (he just started carrying FW stingrays) and he didn't know what I was talking about. He's a regular guy trying to make a buck in Iowa, you won't get any deals fom him unless it's a hell of a sale. You should really take advantage of his sale in April (I'll find out the actual date) because it will probably be the best deal you can get on a new tank in Iowa.
He does have better deals on feeders IMO, they will just bag a crap load of rosies instead of counting them out like Petsmart or petco does. Last week I paid for 4 doz. and I swear I had like 70, they fed my bass for almost a week...
