I use the pools that have metal tube frame. I wouldn't get a sheet metal framed one. You can get them at Kmart and Wal-Mart. The come in various sizes. I have from kmart two of the size 12'x30"(about 2000 gallons) a wal-mart 12'x3' (about 2500 gallons). There is no algicides in/on these. They are easy too set up by one person (especially after the first one).
I live in south central Fla and I put my cichlids in them from April til late October. I use hardy and tropical water lilies for shade.
