Using canisters connected to wetdry? (PICS)

I would sell the canisters and current sump tank and upgrade to a larger sump tank... but that is just me..

Explain how the sump is going to push the water into the canisters. You do realize that the op is trying to use the canisters instead of a return pump, right?

Nope, after looking at the diagram again i noticed no sump pump...
I read sump tank and thought sump tank... without a pump it's just a tank hence the term sump pump...

So yes i thought there was a pump in the sump tank to push water into the canisters.. removing the impeller would allow more flow and less restriction... obviously it would not pump water without the impellers...
