i have used them to see reactions, in some cases in care scare the crap out of fish, this is defo bad, so if this happens with a specimen, dont use a mirror.
no dramatic results using them, other then the fish getting more aggro to tank mates.
they have been used by other people in the past to spur a breed, thats in single pair tanks tho!
