Using "multi quotes" in posts

Hi,

What is the exact procedure for using the "multi quote" function when writing posts??
It seems what ever I try, I get the same results................. a quote of the entire post..............

Right where you click "quote", go 2 buttons over to the sign "" and that is multi quote, pick the ones you want to quote and than push the real quote button. Good luck

click the " " button on all the posts you want to quote, on the final post you want to quote hit the quote button as well, post your message and boom...
