Using other people photos for your stock

He's just using it for illustrative purposes. I've used others pics before too. Sometimes I was just too lazy or didn't have a camera handy. I don't see what the big deal is. PLUS your picture is NOT copyrighted.

BTW, for those going ape **** over this, how is he hurting the OP?

He automatically owns the copyright since he's the one that took the picture. However, if he never registered the copyright, there's really nothing he can do, other than tell the guy to stop using his pic. I would send him an official looking cease and desist email threatening legal action if he doesn't stop using your pic. That will probably be enough to get him to take it down and steal someone else's pic.
