Using RCS for Angelfish eggs?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i say get them into a bubbler

Not sure I understand the RCS role in hatching the eggs? RCS don't drop their eggs unless they're not fertilized or bad in some way, they 'hold' the eggs untill well after they're hatched then once the baby shrimp are old enough to move around they release them.
Are you saying the RCS gather up the Angel eggs and carry them around?

no its more like the shrimp "clean" so that the unfertilized eggs don't growfungus and mess up the other eggs i think

That is what I was thinking...seems a bit far fetched to me but if they will keep working on the good eggs and keep removing the bad ones it could be interesting to play with this idea.

I'll be testing the theory soon. I'm picking up a few females for my males this weekend. One of the girls I'm getting is "more than happy" to breed with virtually any male.

Let's hope my boys cooperate and show good manners.
