If you are in the building stage, you might as well run a feed line over to the ray tank to put them on a drip. You can carbon and sediment filter it prior to use. I don't mean with r/o waste water, just a water supply line for doing either constant drip on the rays or for water changes in general.

I am running a feed line to the future ray tank area, this will not be RO waste water just new tap water. I am fortunate there is a source water line fairly close. I will also be running some conduit that I canpull some wiring through during the actual ray tank build so the tank will have a couple dedicated 20 amp circuits.

Thanks for all the input guys!

I know I’m digging up a super old post here but I’m very curious on this also.. I’ve had my 450 gallon discus display tank on a drip setup with my ro waste water haven’t noticed any issues so far in the month or so I’ve been running the waste water threw it.. but I’m fixing to add a ray and was curious if Im flirting with disaster doing this..
