Using up coldwater fish food on tropicals.

Typically, goldfish and koi food is lower in protein than dried tropical fish food. You'll see minimum protein percentages of around 30-35% for goldfish pellets versus 40-45% for tropical fish pellets. They're ideal for more herbivorous or omnivorous tropicals, but I would use something higher protein for tropical carnivores.
