naa this was in the 75 76 time. trying to pin point my pier fishing days. have to be 76, or maybe 77.
 
in 79 I had left IB and was on my discovery age, meaning joined the navy for 3 years. after doing 2 stents in the CCC.
 
think you referencing this earth quake , this in 89, i lived in san jose at the time, Campbell, was nasty stuff.

S.O.B.'s.....you never know they can bite you while you're holding them behind the head until they do it. Lucky I have fast reaction time to stuff like that. Just a little one too with little fangs.....he made it look like his fangs were made out of rubber that went stiff at will. scary stuff....this not good example of responsible animal-keeping
Don't handle venomous snakes when you're drunk or squids or scorpions or spiders or that kinda stuff....sometimes I think I'm more lucky than skilled LMAO or just plain one of "The Guy Upstairs' favorites"

You hear about that drunk guy in Australia that saw a cool snake on his way out of the bar and woke up in aa hospital bed missing 2 legs and an arm? Was an Eastern Brown snake. bad company

Oh i have done my fair share of not so smart things drunk one would be taking out my 12ft python to play with all alone she was 100lbs had her wraped around me lucky i had one hand free when she decided to squeeze me I've never been to squeeze that hard in my life then she tried to strike my face I grabbed her behind the head did strike was starting to get light headed I will go to the bathroom got into the shower and turn the cold water on it was winter time so the water was ice cold finally she calmed down enough I was able to get her back into her enclosure then I looked in and notice she was blue eyed I'm fixing to head... then there was the time my buddy and I we're down by a creek I was up on the road and he went down by the water as I was coming up I noticed a copperhead in the bush fixin to striking so I grabbed it pop it like a bullwhip in theory and five gallon bucket took it home can't say my dad was too happy ended up getting my hide beat and letting the snake go back by the creak wasnt drunk that time but wish i was butt hurt for 3 days lmao ... few years back had a baby gator id get drunk and see how hast i could tap its Tongue with out getting bit and i was pretty quick 9 out of 10 i didnt .. a friend was drinking with me one day and seen me do it so he wanted to try but insted of going threw the front he put his finger in the side needles to say my gator lach on and did a death roll when i finally got his finger free it look like hamburger.
 
I was going to say I'm glad my worst fear is getting pecked by my cichlids, but then I remembered my rays have venomous barbs.
