UV connecting to Fx5 filter

Forgot to mention, the 36w is perfect for my 300 for its intended purpose... to keep down on green water. For some reason, maybe incoming light from windows or something, this tank will get the green tinge in the water. The UV has been a huge help and I never have green water anymore.
Our living room outside wall is basically large picture windows. All the light from the windows plus the two sky lights resulted in very green water once the tank was running. I got the UV sterilizer for the green water which quickly cleared up and never returned, but then noticed how quickly the fish healed from injuries. If it wasn't for the UV sterilizer, I'm sure I would have dumped in gallons of Melafix.

Jumped the gun on a 100 gal UVC In-line Clarifier. Also, Aquarium Fish Depot employees know me! I guess I have a unique name that they have never heard, so they’ve known me for a year now, which is definetly good!

Were you there today? I was.

I was there today, probably around 5PM. Posted just after I got it. I went to La Jolla Shores with some cousins, and thought I would stop by. I needed some Amano Shrimp (only had 3 left). Didn’t have any, so inquired about the UV. They had the exact one!

They seem to be getting into a wider variety of fish now. They have koi, and saltwater fish, which is all new.

Cool. Today was my first time there. I live never by for 30 years and never knew they existed. They just recently went from wholesale to retail. I spend my money for more fish.

Very nice. My favorite fish store to go to. Amazing employees, and wide variety of fish, though they seem to specialize in rare cichlids. Nice plant selection as well. All relatively good prices for SD area. I recommend Pet Kingdom and Pet Zone if you haven’t checked them out already.
