UV sterelizer

cool, i'll probably get a 9w for the 90 and an 18 for the 300. what pump are you using for the flow on your 220? are you running it after or before the fluidized be filter? pm me if you want, just lost one of my oscars to something weird (this makes 2) so i'm putting a sterlizer on before i add anything else.

The pump is a rio 2100. The pump is mostly hard plumed in the system and split with a t-fitting before it gets to either. That's too much pump for running just the UV to get maximum uv exposure. I'd get something under 200gph and add a ball valve to control the flow.

You could probably run it inline so you're only passing filtered water through the UV. You could branch off the xp3 and you a ball valve to adjust flow.
 
yeah i planned to run it inline on the xp3 but need another pump for the 300
