Defenetly not a good idea
But back on topic, that kind of lamp is a way overkill for your florida softy
All you need is a Zoomed´s reptisun 5.0 and your done (and you can use it alone as in my experience it produces some heat and all my turts bask under them, just make shure you have a mesh covering it)
In my opinion thouse kind of lamps are only needed for desert animals like uromastix and beardys and perhaps ocasionaly for green igs and others. A regular 5.0 fullfills your softy uv needs
