GAAAAH I wanted a featherfin syno catfish pretty bad. I think my 72 is full up already and I heard that they get aggressive towards other catfish sometimes...
Last time I gave in to )V(FK syndrome that I ended up with 6 baby tinfoil barbs... they were only $4 each if you bought 6!
I only have 4 now due to a natural disaster.

agreed. my lfs has a 14" royal and a clown of about the same size or bigger...i usually look at those tanks last then leave. quickly. might splurge though in a few weeks, i have the room but just had to get some stuff out of quarantine. should be this week.

Without being demeaning, that sounds more like "kid in a candy shop syndrome"- I want some of that, and a handful of these, and a bite of that one!
To me MFK syndrome would be wanting a fish that you could not house due to tank size. The only one that's done it for me was a BEAUTIFUL blue arowana at a LFS in Chinatown. Not too much extraordinary in the other LFS I've been to.
