So, im in the process of building my 1500g Outdoor Pond. It is going to be 10 FEET long x 6 FEET wide x 4 1\2 FOOT deep (height).
It will be made out of (mostly) Wood and is ABOVE GROUND.
Keep In Mind I Live in Maryland and it can be cold in the winter.

So, i am deciding stocking.

I REALLY WANT SOME LARGE CICHLIDS AND MONSTERS BUT
I WOULD THINK THAT THEY WOULD DIE IN THE WINTER.

IF YOU KNOW ANY CICHLIDS OR LARGE MONSTERS
(Not Tilapia) THAT CAN SURVIVE THE WINTER TELL ME!

I was also considering some albino Channel Catfish!

I ALSO LIKE KOI!

Also, maybe SOME natives:)

WHAT WOULD A GOOD COMBINATION BE?!?

what part of the U.S. do you live? and how cold will your pond get in the winter?
I said Maryland and, in winter around 45-55 DEGREES

Are there ANYTypes of Cichlids or other ]v[ONSTERS that could live in the pond?!?

I REALLY WOULD LIKE A LARGE CICHLID!
I think an oscar (or other cichlid) would beat up the koi anyways, right?!?

it is possible but with that large of pond you could be ok as long as the koi are in large groups and are larger in size
