doubtful for over 15" personally but a good looking fish indeed- 15" was the biggest midas i've ever seen, and this one doesn't look any bigger. plus i have doubts midas can possibly get over 16".

It is actually 15 years old, ti was bought in 1992.

i have seen some midas at the steinhart aquarium in san francisco that were EASILY 18"
Never seen one even close to the size they had there in someones home aquarium but they do get huge in a huge tank. very nice fish though. even if it was a 13"er it sure is a beastly looking animal.
