those fish are called freshwater paddlefish, they get very large. never seen one in person, you are very lucky to live where you do. the LFS in the united states sell absolute crap and even when they do get something good in, they don't even know what it is

We call those paddlefish "Spoonbills" in Ky. They are easily caught from Ky Lake. Winter caught Sonns are damn fine eating!
