I would do anything for a large armatus. The ones I had would have been eaten by somebody already. Even at 12" my perch or larger gars would have def taken him down

You gotta grow one out. You can't find one such big to match with your monsters, and even if you found one, you couldn't transport that sucker Too much risk for transporting an 18" plus Armatus, unless from one tank to another in the same house

I grew mine from 3" to 12" really fast and then its growth just stopped. It stayed at 12" for like 3 months and didnt grow for the next owner either... I just dont have a spare tank right now or the patience but they are indeed one of my favorite fish

Yours is 14" or close to it, eats shrimp like going out of style. Too bad only one of them survive the shipping
