At first I was thinking "They look like Rainbows, but maybe he's right". Then I got it "Cut-throat" Trout. I'm kind of slow sometimes...

It was no pun. The trout in Lake Tahoe are known as Lahontan cutthroat trout:

The picture of the lake from the deck is gorgeous, I love the way the water changes color. I did notice that the dock was empty - Where's your boat?

By the way, what kind of trout are they in the sink? Cut-throat Rainbows or cut-throat Cutthroats? How did you cook them?

Boats currently up for sale, hence its at the dealership. Besides just to tow it to Tahoe and use it on the lake would take about $50,000 in gas alone!

I dunno to be honest, I simply caught them and let the others cook! All I know is that it became a great appetizer!
