Vac'd and Forgot

I did this the other day too...damn pythons :P. They make it easier to clean, and easier to forget lol...I was draining my 80 gal the other day, took my 50% out, stuck it in to fill it back up, walked off and watched some tv (can see into my bedroom from the living room, to see how high the tank water is) and then I hear this sound and I was like "what is that"? Then I'm like OH **** CHANTELLE!!! (My fiancee) and run in and turn it off real quick. Only about 10 seconds, but TONS of water on the floor. Only did it once before that, because a stupid cleaning rag fell off the edge of the sink into the drain and it overflowed all over the floor (which was lucky because it was linoleum, and needed mopped anyways) so the fiancee was happy, because I had to mop :D

I did a similar thing the other day, was filling up my 210 and got distracet watching tv, next thing I know my roommates yelling up the stairs that it's raining in the basement, i might want to turn off the water. It driped for the next hour, but luckly all went through the ventilation system.

sorry for your loss:( , that's why when i make water change i spend time with it. it is a waste of time sometimes but you just need to be careful. my 180 is in my living room with wooden floors.. i don't want to mess that one up.. besides i drain it to the garden, open the window and take the mosquito screen out and drain the phyton at my garden. while doing it i watch tv and check it out while it drains and fills up.:)

Actually the best thing to do is get high and do ti, than your not wasting time, 2nd the best part, have your friends do it. My friends love cleanign my tank, dont know why. I want to put my tank on tile, i cnat stand teh smell of ciclid pooh...im lucky nutin bad has happen to me yet, WOOFTA
