Value of my fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The lfs is Aquarium Concepts in Dublin, CA. East Bay. Their next door to a Petsmart which also has fish stuff. And across the street to a Safeway with a gas station. They sell peacock gudgeons for 5$/pc I got mine their on sale for 2$/pc. They only eat live foods. But the good news is they will primarily live off micro-crusteaceans and plankton in your water. I only supplement with frozen bloodworms once/wk. They have TINY mouths btw. But their very predatory.

But I feel bad about giving the dwarf jewel cichlid away for free.. their also not common at all. I think their rare. I paid like 30$ for it. Their not related to jewel cichlids btw. Its a totally different fish.

They are only worth what someone is willing to pay. You may have a price in mind of what you want for them, but finding someone to pay that is another issue. Good luck.

Hi I'm thinking about selling some of my fish and I was wondering what you think I could *successfully* acquire (price-wise) for these fish:

5 discus - 2 small 3"and 3 big 5", their all checkerboard, 1 powder-blue checkerboard, 1 STUNNING alpha male, very pretty been complimented a few times

1 dwarf jewel cichlid 2" - ugly imo

1 electric blue german ram 1 1/2" - pretty

6 peacock gudgeons 1" - kind of skinny, picky eaters but pretty

~12 Fire green tetra 1" - very active

2 yellow lab mbuna proven breeding pair 4", 3" - she holds unfertilized eggs all day long I have them seperated cuz she got beat up but she's long since healed

1 AQUARIA CENTRAL'S *FAMOUS* /\/\onster Bristelnose Plecostamus 6" - extremely agressive

haha i remember those threads! lol. thats a standard BN pleco. worth maybe at that size about 12.00 to 15.00 at most.
