Can anyone tell me anything about vampire shrimp.I've got one at work he has "filter baskets" like a bamboo shrimp but also has a set of arms that look like they could cause damage

All I really know about them is they're very difficult to breed in captivity. The larvae go through several planktonic stages before metamorphosing into post-larvae (miniature shrimp) and assuming a benthic lifestyle. They need brackish water to full strength saltwater for spawning and larval development.
