"Vampire tetra" or pike species that can thrive in a 40 breeder?

If you remember let me know please :), Do any of you know anything about grass pickerel (pikes) from what I have read they seem right up the alley of what I am looking for (8- 10 inch predatory) I read on a thread that two too three could be housed in a tank like mine but that may have been a over exaggeration.

I know who it was, but that vendor isn't even worth mentioning here so they will remain nameless......

I'd get some of those fish mentioned earlier from Mr. Rapps. He's not gonna jerk your chain about fish he doesn't have, lie about sizes, fail to communicate, piss all over meet deadlines, won't send emaciated ich infected fish, and probably isn't going to overcharge you to ship them.

i believe red tail pickeral are more suitable for a 40 gallon. Perhaps the native fish people can help you out more.
