Vanilla lobster that’s asexual?

Hey my vanilla lobster had babies and I have no clue how, I know marbled crayfish can reproduce on their own but I’ve never heard of vanilla lobsters doing this. Cna anyone explain why this happened?! Lol

This is kewl! Not familiar with lobster/crayfish other than when I’m eating em. But, I’m curious now!?
 
So they are in different tanks? Only 1 "baby". Crayfish, shrimp, "lobsters" have many babies at a time usually not just 1. Female crayfish can and do store sperm until ready to use it. Still since it's only one,
I'd like to suggest the little one is a hitchhiker that came in on plants or something from another tank.

Did you see your lobster carrying eggs? Females can store sperm (seen it happen in my own tanks) so it could get pregnant months after it’s last encounter with a male. It’s not unreasonable that only one survived, tankmates could easily clean up most of the larvae. Can you show pics of your adult’s underside, if it’s a male there is no way it could lay eggs and the baby is indeed just a hitchiker, if a female either is possible.

Unfortunately the lobster just passed. I have no clue why but it just died all of a sudden
