they have never bred ..so i do not know if i have a pair.. but they get along great with each other most of the time..

Not a cihlid you see much. I used to go to few good Long Island pet stores stocked with cichlids . Don't recall ever seeing a Black belt cichlid.

i always wanted them... but these have proven to be somewhat dissapointing.. i raised them up right... and took good care of them.. when they were an inch in size they had freyed tails.. i thought it was from the small tank in the LFS.. they still have the same tails.. but other then that they are beauties...but obviously something in their genes..
