Hey All,
The fahaka puffers were sold out by the time I got there this morning. I did shoot a bunch of pics so I'll post those here. Remember, these were taken at an importer's facility so that means old beat up tanks that are difficult to shoot through and very little light.

The rhom in the last post is app. 15-16", including the tail. I actually thought you could see both sides of the 18" wide tank in the pic but I guess I was wrong. Obviously, I wouldn't have bought the slender sabertooth barracuda today as they have ich but I took a pic so that you'd know what they're referring to with this common name. A few of these pics are from a couple of weeks ago but are included to give you an indication of what is available.

I'm just attaching a couple here: Pipa pipa and greater sirens. I should have also noted in the last post that the chambered nautilus are occasionally available. If you're interested in these, email me to discuss their requirements. They're fascinating but are a real commitment.

The closest thing I saw to that today (and not really all that close) was the albino Mystus cats. They were about 4" and pretty nice. My pic was overexposed and out of focus so I didn't post it. I can't actually recall ever having seen an albino Hoplo.

Hey All,
These are the highlights of the availability list from our supplier in Germany. The quality of the fish from Germany is really outstanding. Many of the fish are more expensive from there but the quality makes them a good value. They are fully quarantined before being shipped and are in better condition than fish we get from anywhere else in the world. The prices reflect that conditioning and the cost of shipping. Wild South American fish are shipped across the Atlantic to Germany and then back across the Atlantic to us. That has a real impact on the cost of the fish. That said, we're able to get South American fish from Germany that we can't get from our suppliers in South America and the fish are in better condition so it's worthwhile to get them from there. If you have any questions, please send me an email at anubiasdesign@yahoo.com or send a pm. If you'd like a price for anything on that list, please send an email. I can get pics on some of these if you have a serious interest.
There are a couple of things worthy of note here, too. I have included some sturgeons on this list. If anyone is interested in those, I will need to do a bit of research to find out what I need to do to import them. I'm not 100% sure that I can get them. There is a Typhlonectes on the list and this one I can import legally. The problem with importing Typhlonectes (caecillian worms) is that they are usually sent as assorted or unidentified and this is technically illegal. Because these are identified, I can bring them in. This is typically the only time of year that these are available so if you want them, now is the time.
