awesome!, love the pearsei

what camera are you using?

Probably a digital rebel for the GT and fred. An old Nikon 995 for the JD. The rest were done with a canon 30d with different lenses (canon 17-40 f/4L and canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS). The midas photo was done with a flash on the top of the glass top to give the cool shadows. The nicaraguense and escondido were done without flash. Nice having the 70-200 f/2.8 IS lens... image stabilization rocks on non moving subjects. Too bad it has a $1600US price tag just for the lens :P

Back when I had the GT, probably a mix of the nutrafin spirulina sticks, kens's cichlid pellets and hikari cichlid gold. Which is the same food I feed to the escondido & bifasciatus. Most of my fish get a mix of kens and hikari. I really need to get some newer photos of the festae. I just got back into using hikari food and it makes a HUGE difference with them!

cool americans! Very good photo skills!!!

First post with pics proper format the whole nine...you are either a genius or are a vet elsewhere....However Great first post, welcome to MFK! and I LOVE your red devil....

I've participated on cichlid forums since April 2003, does that count? I do like the genius thing! I'm a frequent poster on a few cichlid sites and a moderator on a couple as well.

Now back to organizing a $500 Rapps order :)
