  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
"vase" ftw. vaaaaaz  damn yuppies

whats a yuppie?
is it safe to say most americans say vace?
it sounds stupid... that is how it would be pronounced in english yes cause of the e on the end, but vase is a greek word so im guessing vace is just an adaptation americans made?

i don't because i say it like varz. voz sounds completely different.
btw westie metalocalypse ROCK =D
You really say it with an "r" in it?!?!
THAT, I DO know is wrong.

Is their an "r" in the actual word, VASE?!?!?!?!?!
No.
You are mistaking the "oz" sound for one made by an "r".

Even "vaz" is more like it.
No r, at all whatsoever.

no, it sounds stupid to say vaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazzz

and yeah, id say most americans say it "vase" or "vace"

yeah why the "r"?????? please tell me dont say it "varz"

but i dont pronounce R like americans.
or A
the a sounds like the word AH i just put the R in to help the phonetical sound =P
americans tend to overpronounce their R's anyway so i can see why you would think it sounds stupid =P

I say Vaaz maybe vase sometimes when people look at me funny...but I am from the east coast baby, thats how we do! haha

Yeah I dont get the varse? I have never heard it pronounced with an R? Do you say ant or aunt? or roof or ruff? There are so many ways to say things in america its nuts, every region has something they do different. In buffalo NY they call soda pop, same in the mid west. In Florida its all coke, all soda is called coke. What kind of coke do you want? Hilarious. in NE we say wicked, all the time. as in wicked good, first time I went to florida people were so confused, did i mean good or bad? I said wicked good, they said is that even possible? haha classic
