My guy is about 9 inches now..... this growth rate is ridiculous ....anybody have a growth rate like this?
That's pretty awesome bro. Mine are a lot slower compared to yours. I've updated my thread with some latest pics.
Got three vitts and and 1 g in a 400 us gal, the biggest v is just under 10 " very chunky went in late August at around 4 inches feed a mixture of live feeders and chopped fish. The second vit is very close but does not have the bulk/mass of the largest and the third is probably 1.5 " smaller still. The g is the same length as the smallest vit but not as chunky. Lots of colour on the vitts and the deep v in the tail is dispersing on the largest as the tail is broadening while the second still shows a deep v with extensions top and bottom.
I got in today, it's about 6 inch with tail, 5 body.
I've kept them before.
I was told it was on a shrimp and pellet diet, i plan to keep it the same, with maybe monthly feeder, likely molly young which are breeding in my sump.
