VATF price check

What's the going rate for a 18" vatf? Seen some 6-7" ones for pretty cheap.

I'm pretty sure that size wouldn't last long at all priced at $350. I basically paid $300 for a 15"er with a bad eye.

That size is an instant gratification fish. Hard to put a price on something like that. I'd guess closer to the $500.....

I have seen 8 to 12 incher going for 225 to 300 quids

I sold my 12" GATF for $1000 a few years ago, and it sold in like two hours.

I could easily see a huge VATF fetching at least $500.

Well IF anyone wants to pony up I have some big Tigers....... Would probably let them all go for $2K IF the right fish land this week.

IF a common 18" Vatf would fetch $750 what the heck would something rare like a big Tatf be worth???

It all depends on quality I think Al. Your big, flawless fish might push a grand. An 18" xATF in crappy shape woudl probably have a hard time getting $300.

Anyone seriously considering this fish should know just how much work and time goes into getting one of these bad boys big and keeping it in great shape. If you want a fish that's had that kind of work put into it, be ready to pony up! An exceptional fish commands an exceptional price
