aquamojo: That's a hell of an idea. Take another pic with a red light over the O. The flash will reveal his body colors but, the red light should make his fins glow like flames. It'd make an awesome pic.

I've seen them quite a few times at different lfs. I'd try asking around to see if any lfs in your area has them on their availability list. they may be able to order them but choose not to not knowing how well they'd sell. if you ask though I'm sure they'd get some in for you. if that doesn't work then try online.



ps. I'm with Cockroach...never cared for veil-tailed oscars myself.

My dad had a tiger veil tail a few years back. It got HUGE bigger than any Oscar I've ever seen!! They are hard to come by though... I've never seen one since. I prefer the "normal" ones myself.
