I wanted to make sure to get this picture posted here (instead of the marketplace) where the Oscar people would see it in case any of you might want to buy one from the seller. I got this Tiger Veiltail almost a week ago from JHutch on this forum, he's still got several left. This one's awesome with amazing personality and perfect fins. He/she was eating within minutes and hasn't stopped yet :-) I adore this baby Oscar. I've found quite a few "Tiger Albino/Lutinos" for sale but this is the only Tiger I could find, not sure why they're harder to find. Anyway, if you're interested you can PM JHutch at:

Here's the picture I just took this morning during the "Feed me!" dance.

Yea sure, they do 'fin graphs' to lengthen the tail.
No, it's the same as different color morphs. You know how they have long-skirt Tetras...fantail Goldfish.....? Same thing. I'm a little surprised you've not heard of Veiltail Oscars, you seem to have been here awhile and they've been around for 15 yrs or so.

wow ive heard of them just never seen one!!! awesome!!!!!!

Thanks, Jaws. I'm a little defensive about mine because a lot of people think they're ugly when it's just a matter of personal preference. Mine's definitely all Oscar. Hungry all day :-)

If this is one of the Oscars that has his fins clipped then I don't care how defensive you get. It is wrong to support this practice by buying fish like this. Ultimately it leads to the premature death of these fish.

its not its a fish thats bred to have longfins thats it wow

nice veiltail i like the alvino ones they look sick

Ok then nevermind. Thats why i said "IF its a fish with clipped fins." because I wasn't sure. I have seen these "notch fin" oscars and the like at a couple LFS I have been to. It makes me furious. Sorry to hi-jack and nice fish.

I've been here for a while true but still never saw or heard of them. I might have selective memory on them though since I'm not a huge Oscar fan.
