Unannon has a monster viel check it out it is his av.

Oh good lord. They're *bred that way naturally. It was a joke about the 'fin graphs'.
I'm going to see if I can find a picture of Unannon's.
I looked all over and found a couple Albino Tigers but no Reds and this was the only Tiger I found.

I'm a little surprised you've not heard of Veiltail Oscars, you seem to have been here awhile and they've been around for 15 yrs or so.

Thanks for posting him. Not too many people have them. I did a yahoo search and didn't come up with a whole lot. Even though I've been here for a while, I still learn new stuff from time to time or else why would I keep coming back. If I new everything, I'd start my own "Ask Balton" website and just answer everyone's questions. j/k lol ;) Seriously though, I'm glad I got to see my first one.

Good, now you can tell me why my 'mean as a snake' Texas puts up with this (obviously female according to the Texas) Oscar being the boss :-)
I wish I understood fish dynamics, they just tear off and do the unexpected just when you think you've got them figured out. Maybe Texas males are just more respectful of females? I don't know. He'll kill another male and he's only 3" yet the little Veiltail bosses him around.

It's grafts. Graphs are like bar graphs...

My first big tank came with a full grown veil tail tiger oscar. Thing was nuts. Liked to crash into things and hurt itself at night.

Do you have any full tank shots of your "130 g - Veiltail Oscar, Texas, 4 huge Loaches" ?

This is as good as I've got, you can't hardly see them because they're so small, the 3" Texas is in the pot and the 3" Oscar is to the right. The actual 'huge' Loaches should've been on the Tiger Oscar's line in my sig, the Loaches in this tank are about 4". The ones in the Tiger Oscar's 125 g are 6" but that counts their tails. I should go change that now. The 6" ones are going in this tank in another week and the 4" ones will go in the Loach tank.
The Oscar and Texas are babies and I guess the tank's too big for them right now but I wanted them in their permanent tank.

They're pretty popular right now in my area. Couple handfuls of them in a couple LFS's.

Love em, but dont have the space at the moment.

thats a really nice oscar you got, I like those veiltails with fins so long they look like giant betta fish
