Ok, so I go to my LFS today and check all the new fish as usual. I take a look at the jag tank (usually filled with 1-2" jags), and I see something odd. All the small jags are huddled in the top left corner of the tank. Upon closer inspection, I realize what is going on. There is a small Dovii in tank beating the hell out of all the jags. I took a pic with my new Blackberry, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get it to my computer. Well, I got one of the guys working there to get the Dovii out and get him in a tank by himself. Turns out there is also a small Dovii female that was hiding under a rock. She looks pretty bad, so he just left her in there. It looks like their vendor sent them the Dovii by mistake. Poor jags.

They didn't even know what they were, until I explained that it is a fish that can grown into 24" of glass-banging, fish-killing fury.

The 20" dovii at my LFS is AWESOME and also very nicely colored
Let me tell you a Managuense could murder a dovii with out a problem just depends on the fish and obviously the dovii was the bully in the situation but a Manny has no problem whooping ass on Dovii. Manny's can be 18" of pure glass banging evil too lol.
I'd love to find a Dovii. My LFS cant get them (or so they say). I have a 150g with nothing in it yet, because I've been holding out for a Dovii.

Too small for Dovii. I wouldn't keep a Dovii in anything under 240 gallons. Mannies are alright for a 150 until they reach 15". Mota's are also great.
