Hello, not sure if im putting this on the right forum ,,,,has any other fellow mfkr have had there sales deleted and told they have to become a vendor,,,
ive been on mfk since 2007 im a hobbyist and love this hobby as many of you especially here in cali ,its very expensive ,,,ive been on disability 2 years and to support my hobby i buy and sell more then maybe the regular mfkr this is the only way i can afford the hobby i love ,,,, per forum rules selling for profit is forbidden ,,,,im actually wondering why that is a rule ,,,, this is a world of if you can make a profit you do that ,,,many of the members have multiple posts for sale ,,,,but there still able to sell,,,,why arent they considered vendors ??//

so with all do respect to the admins ,,,,stop policeing this sight were hobbyist
many of us buy/sell and trade so we can stay in the hobby we love
if were selling illegal livestock or are abusive to fellow members then jump in
handel things as needed....but come one let us be hobbyist ,,,horse trading is part of this ,,,buying and selling is part of this hobby many of us its the only way we can afford this at times

ive only posted on here likes this because i tried the contact admin forum privately ive been waiting for a reply for weeks ,,,i see them veiwing it but no replys ,,,,,you would think a member of almost 10 years would be given the curtousy of a quick reply and try to remedy this situation ,,,,

Thanks for throwing us under the bus after we told you that you could sell your large tank and other items before your move.

Suspended 1 month for posting staff actions in open forum.

Stop policing the sales? And, just how is that fair to those vendors who accept their responsibility and pay their vendor dues, per site requirements?

I guess the site owes you for the nearly 10 years you've been a member. And, the 126 posts in those 10 years speak volumes on your support of the site.

We will leave this up so that things will be clear.

We do the best we can to give hobbyists the ability to sell their products/fish to keep their hobby going, but there is a line you cross when you are taking advantage of the site and the good deals available and using them to profit. That by definition, makes you a vendor.

If you are turning a profit off of MFK, it is not unfair to expect you to abide by the same rules that every other vendor follows. If you see someone not following the rules, then you should report it to the staff so that they can be offered vendor status.

You said it, you buy and sell more than a regular member. That's why you need to be a vendor!

You're right. This is the world if you can make a profit you do that. Just be a vendor and make all the profit in the world if you want to.

Don't worry about others, or tattletale on them. Just worry about you and being a vendor

Since you got yourself a month vacation, why don't you check with the city, where you live, if you need a permit to do garage sale every weekend to make all the profit in the world, or is there a limit of how many garage sale you can hold per month or year without a sale permit?

no body else chimes in...
1 month suspensions for anybody who dares take on the admins!!
lol

Not necessarily. I've been in plenty of debates on the site where I had to eat crow. The issue comes with airing in public how the staff conducts personal business with individual members. That's no one else's business and is in the TOS to not post in such a manner.

If you're on disability, maybe reconsider taking a break from the hobby and prioritize your finances rather than flipping fish to support your hobby. I don't think disability benefits were designed for supporting non-essential items such as fish keeping. But then again I'm not a Bernie Sanders supporter who expects everyone else to support me while I do absolutely nothing for 2+ years. So you get no sympathy here from a tax payer who feeds into a trough that you feed from.

Lastly, if you truly are disabled, how on earth are you lifting 240g and 600g tanks to sell? Maybe we need to communicate this to your disability office?
