venn. growth rate

hey guys.
my venn has been growing rather slow, is this normal? what is the average growth rate IYE? i have read that theyre some of the larger pikes, easily getting like, 20"+. so, whats the best way to get the fastest growth outta him?

What has its growth rate been up til now? What are you feeding it and how many times a day? I'm assuming you're up to par on water quality and changes. I've never kept a ven, but they are some of the larger and faster growing pikes.

Mine's growing fast on a diet of shrimp, fish, and cichlid gold pellets (and unfortunately he likes to eat clown loaches too). He put on an inch and a half last month.

out of curiousity, what is about average growth in a year for a ven acquired at say, 3"

i have a ven at 3'' about 3 months ago, now it is 8''. It all depends on water, diet, etc.

your fish grow impossibly fast though.....

and ive upgraded him to the 110gal and hes starting to beef up some more already.
