Say I had 7 Oscars in a large enough tank.
Will be able to vent all the fish in the tank when spawning time comes? Can the females that don't spawn be vented?

When spawning time comes, one or more pairs will form and spawn, in which case you won't have to worry about pulling each fish out to vent them. 7 oscars gives you good chances for one or more pairs, especially in an 11 foot tank.

A note of interest about Oscar's. Unlike most other fish we deal with in the trade, Oscar's don't reach sexual maturity till around the year and a half mark. So you are dealing with near full size fish when they really start staking claim to territory and initiation of breeding. So any decorations in the tank will have to be very sturdy.
