How do I vent my flowerhorn I belive its a female because of the spot on the dorsal fin. So yea can someone tell me how to vent i want to buy her/him a mate.

Not a derail at all...Good question....Venting is looking at the private parts of a fish and comparing the size and shape of the two wholes with one another. The vent is the bigger of the 2 on males the holes should look like this..oo..... on females they will look like this....oO....Hope this make it a little more clear for ya...

I think you have a male. My pic is super super blurry I will post a couple more so you get what I am saying. He was in the middle of breeding and was showing his vent externally at the time of these pics...Last pic is a semi decent shot of my female Rd's vent. The others are all the struggle of trying to photo my fh's vents....I will post the external shots I got that will also help you a bit

I am trying to take my fish out again but its fighting for its life i just did a 100 % water change needed to change the gravel to sand :/ and he is really stressed ima try to get a pic tommarow thanks for your help
