I do agree thats probably male.. 59.99 for wild caught so prolly .. 30-50 here in greater nyc area

nice venustus... y sell it? i have a venustus with my salvini. and salvini are supposedly one of the devil cichlids

It is definitly a male..they get the blue face and blue fins... the giraffe pattern fades away into a gold... only females are born with giraffe pattern and remain that way through life..
