VERRY wierd situation with my tank

today i got an enenemi for my saltwater tank. a few minuits later i put my hand in the water and got shocked. every time i try to put my hand in the water i get shocked. i turned off my heater and still it happens. what is happening.

probably getting some current leakage from either one of your lights or a powerhead.

have had this happen before.

Maybe you got the elusive electric anemone (I think that is what you meant), related to the grass bass. lol Sorry, bad joke I know but try unplugging each electrical item one at a time, then testing the water.

yeah unplug each electrical component one by one... a lot of times you'll only get shocked if you're touching a ground or other large object simultaneously...

lol by testing I assume you mean sticking your hand back in the water.


How about unplugging EVERYTHING and then plugging stuffz back in one at a time.
