very bad bad day

after giving birth and all the 9 pupies died, the mother today already dead too.

Still alive, but she doesnt move just stayed. after the birth , her colour changed from dark brown became light grey.

after she died, the bottom body turned to be red, anybody can help me why she is dead? after she giving birth, she just stayed and dont eat. the other female also giving birth just fine.

yap, it s her first litter, i think may be because he has to many pupies 9, the other female only 2 pupies still oke untill now.thanks, what is your opinion?

why did the pups die?

the pups died

in the first day i got 4 pupies, 1 alive, 3 died in main tank, already sucked by the pump. then i used plastic bin, so pups cannot near the pump.

the second day, i found 1 pup suck bye the pump ( i guess the mother birth on the top of the water and the pups can be in the plastic bin, the other 2 died in the tank . so i still got 2 live pups.

in the day 3, all pups from this mother died, and from the other mother live. The pups size from this mother if very very little from the other one.


is it because the pups to many? thanks

my guess would be- the male started biting the mother, stressed her into early labor and stressed her to death

I agree with trev. especially with this her first litter and she had 9!! thats quite a load of stress anyways, plus with the male in there trying to mount up again he more than likely put her into shock. I know when my wife gave birth to our daughter, she was stressed and would yell at me all kinds of swearing so i had to wait in the lobby! haha! sorry bout your loss man!
