that's not all that amazing. its a northern pike, and they are very BAD aquarium fish because of thier aggressiveness, size and growth rate. they will kill themselves if you keep them in a tank thats too small. that or they will break your tank, and then die

My glass is more than half an inch thick and it sure won't break it. I've kept plenty of those together before and you just need to feed them and they will be OK, before I just kept them and let them out but this time I wanna learn how to manage to keep them properly till they are big enough. I never thought I'd see someone complain about aggressiveness on this forum, its monsterfishkeepers after all :) I will put the fish with my other Pikes when they are big enough in my pond which is very large, I live close to a lake where I will get bloodworms & small feeders

update on my fish being in the bathtube to get rid of some bacterial from his body, he is having plenty water changes. He's going to my aquarium soon.
He is aprox 18" or bigger.

Does he try taking nips at you when you move him? I heard they were agressive fish to humans as well as other freshwater animals?

They sure is aggressive against animals as they sometimes eat baby-ducks etc but I have never experienced any sign of aggressiveness against any human since they usually are very stressed and don't know what to do when we catch them. This one is prolly going straight to the place where he came from since it's a bit too big for my 221g. I thought it would work but it won't.
I better catch a juveline with a net instead :)

Did you release it in your pond?
No he will be released to the lake where I caught him. I'll try to get a juveline this weekend.
