In my back yard. They like two days old. Just wanted to share. Hope you enjoy as much as I did.

hope you didn't touch them. If you do, the mother will kick them out the nest n leave them dead

How lucky to have a robins nest in your yard! Love robins! A pair of robins made a nest in a camelia bush outside our kitchen window one year. They had three babies. The mother looked old, tired and had faded colors. The father was handsome and had pretty red coloring--much more brilliant than his mate.

This week some blue jays set up housekeeping in our camelia bush. The mother was in the nest this evening. They totally ignore us even when we stand at the sink three feet away from their nest....wish the robins had come back to our camelia bush instead of the blue jays.

Awesome pics. where was the nest in your backyard. Several years ago I had a starling make a nest in an old grill. I could just open the lid and get a look without disturbing them. I managed to get pictures of them as they grew up.

How is opening the lid not disturbing them?

Thanks. They are on my back porch setting under the overhang.
