so should i keep it by itself?
if so how big should the tank be?

300gal minimum for one. I have 2 in a 650gal and I have Quik-Set constructing 4 2000gal raceway tanks (26ft x 5ft x 2ft). The adult mbus will get one of the raceways in the hope that I can get them to spawn.

are you serious!!!
then what does the arowana, catfishs, knifefish, pacu, and a oscar need?

oh and by the way, i just noticed your oddball avatar is a pufferfish! i thought it was an egg all alongHAHA

if u plan on keeping your tsn forever your gonna need a hgue ass tnak

mbu puffers are either kill everything or reasonably sociable. If you get the latter its tankmates must be picked carefully as a peaceful mbu can be harrassed to death.Ours is in a 9ftx3ft6x2ft with 2 giraffe cats,a longibarbis and a channa marulioides (see our gallery) Two facts, our filter is 54"X18"X18" and we have to do a 450lt water change every week.Youve seen the pictures of the finger, try seeing one eat through crabs claws like they were sweets. That said out of the many fish we keep a mbu is one of the few i would always keep.
